Batch Processing Tool
AaSQ supports various speech quality evaluation algorithms such as TOSQA, POLQA, XQUEST, and Speech-based DoubleTalk, which can be added to AaSQ as optional components for use. To improve the processing efficiency of large batches of speech signals, Land developed the batch processing tool BatchProcessor, which can be integrated with speech quality evaluation algorithms to realize the corresponding speech signal calculation. BatchProcessor can be used as a fully independent software combined with any of the above algorithms or together with AaSQ.

Product Overview

In the telecommunications field, evaluating the voice quality perceived by users is an important means to quantify and compare the performance of terminal devices and even individual transmission paths in the entire network. Processing individual voice signal files one by one is time-consuming and laborious. To simplify this task, Land has developed an automated tool for processing voice signal files — Batch Processor.


Batch Processor is available in two versions. First, an independent version integrated with one or several specific algorithms, which supports subsequent addition of algorithms on demand, offering flexibility and agility. Second, a universal version used with AaSQ; this universal version does not require additional purchase of voice quality evaluation algorithms, providing high cost performance.


If you have the AaSQ system, it is recommended to use the Batch Processor universal version matching AaSQ. This version supports all voice quality evaluation algorithms already built into AaSQ:

 TOSQA (AaOPT 10)

 XQUEST (AaOPT 21)

 POLQA (AaOPT 30)

 Speech-based Double Talk (AaOPT 32)


To realize the batch processing and calculation of Batch Processor, users can write a simple-structured txt file specifying file names, paths and execution sequences, or control Batch Processor through interfaces to achieve advanced automated testing.
