Artificial Head and Torso - Low Self-Noise Edition I.1
The artificial ears of LHTI.1 LN (Landtop Head Torso) artificial head testing system are fitted with high-sensitivity ear simulators, featuring ultra-low background noise down to 16 dB SPL(A) and a maximum sound pressure level up to 149 dB SPL. Its artificial mouth can reproduce full-spectrum sound ranging from 50Hz to 20kHz with extremely low distortion. It serves as the optimal solution for electro-acoustic performance testing of various voice interaction terminals including mobile phones, headsets, smart speakers, in-vehicle voice systems, smart screens and hearing aids under handheld, earphone, handheld hands-free and hands-free working modes.
Artificial Head and Torso - Low Self-Noise Edition I.1
Product Overview

Developed in compliance with ITU-T P.57 and P.58 standards, LHT 1.1 LN adopts an anthropomorphic structure close to human anatomy, which can accurately capture the real acoustic characteristics of voice interaction terminals. It supports flexible assembly with left and right ears (equipped with ear simulators) and artificial mouth.

To fully cover the full frequency range of human voice, the artificial mouth outputs full-spectrum sound with ultra-low distortion, and supports ultra-wideband and full-band testing specified in 3GPP TS26131-32.

System Description

LHT 1.1 LN is designed for testing various acoustic transducers such as mobile phones, headsets, smart speakers, in-vehicle voice systems, smart screens and hearing aids. It simulates human sound diffraction and reflection features to complete voice transmission and reception tests, fully meeting all acoustic test demands in actual communication scenarios.

The artificial ear consists of pinna and ear simulator. The pinna is developed in accordance with ITU-T P.57 Type3.3, perfectly suitable for testing in-ear headsets, hearing aids and other in-ear devices. The ear simulator conforms to IEC 60318-4.

The artificial mouth complies with ITU-T P.58, maintaining consistent free-field transmission performance at all test positions.

The built-in shoulder and torso simulator accurately restores human acoustic diffraction and reflection properties, making it ideal for far-field acoustic testing. Its overall dimensions comply with ITU-T P.58 and meet all head profile tolerance requirements. Each LHT 1.1 LN is equipped with BEQ digital equalizer, enabling the collected ear signals to be switched among DF, FF and ID sound fields.
