In recent years, with the growing importance of abnormal noise performance in vehicle development, its development mode has shifted from late-stage calibration to forward development. Traditionally, vehicle abnormal noise digital model inspection relies on engineers’ practical experience accumulated from real vehicle calibration and conventional structural design criteria. This method has three obvious drawbacks.
1)High randomness of inspection results: For the same inspection items, evaluation results vary greatly among different NVH engineers, leading to poor consistency.

2)Incomplete inspection coverage: Without detailed unified specifications, the comprehensiveness and accuracy of inspection depend entirely on personal experience and working status.

3)High threshold for junior engineers: Digital model inspection is experience-dependent and complex. Since new engineers mainly learn through passive mentoring, their growth varies greatly, making it difficult for beginners to independently complete professional inspections.
Therefore, standardized and procedural digital model inspection can significantly improve abnormal noise development efficiency, reduce late-stage calibration workload, cut development costs, and avoid prolonged project cycles caused by frequent design modifications.
